The Colorado Avalanche and Seattle Kraken continued their best of seven series Monday night in Seattle as the Kraken were looking to tie the series up.

The biggest story from this one was when Avalanche super star Cale Makar nailed Kraken's Jarred McCann with a very questionable hit. Makar was originally assessed a five-minute major, but after the officials reviewed the hit changed it to a minor penalty.
The Kraken fans booed Makar the rest of the game every time he touched the puck and got the last laugh tonight as Jordan Eberle would score the Overtime winner.
After the game Makar was asked about the hit and said:
Cale Makar: «I didn't feel like I tried to finish him that far. I feel like if I was in that scenario they would have done the exact same thing. I'm not trying to hurt anybody.»

He said he wasn't sure where the puck was and thought McCann was going to the corner for the puck.
Makar is set to have a hearing today regarding the hit.
