From the moment he was selected in the fifth round of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft, you could tell that Brendan Gallagher had something unique. He was like sandpaper in the rough, a true warrior with an impeccable work ethic. His small frame has set many teams back, but he has made them regret it over time. He's a player everyone hates to play against, but everyone would love to have on their team and we're lucky to have had him in Montreal in the last 10 years, although he's on the downhill side. There is really just one less positive thing to say about the man, if anything, it is that he still doesn't speak French. Believe it or not, he is currently taking intensive courses and could very well surprise us in the coming months. That's what Stu Cowan of the <i>Montreal Gazette</i> reports.
