The NHLPA held a hearing today to discuss the consequences for Connor Clifton after he delivered a hit directly to the head of Devils' captain Nico Hischier. The result of the hearing is a two-game suspension for Clifton.
Buffalo's Connor Clifton has been suspended for two games for an Illegal Check to the Head of New Jersey's Nico Hischier.
Connor Clifton receives a match penalty for this hit to the head on Nico Hischier.
Clifton was given a match penalty during the game for the hit. Hischier left the game after the hit in a precautionary move and to be assessed for a head injury.
