A few minutes ago, the Washington Capitals shared a significant update.
Capitals Officially Place Oshie on Injured Reserve
The Capitals have placed T.J. Oshie on the Injured Reserve list.
In response, they've summoned Ivan Miroshnichenko and Hendrix Lapierre from the Hershey Bears, their AHL affiliate.

Much like several other players in Washington , Oshie has had offensive struggles this season. Over 21 games, he has only scored two goals and two assists.
