Blackhawks Young Star Ends Up On Long Term Injured Reserve
The Blackhawks are dealing with several injuries heading into the 2023-24 NHL season. The most concerning of which now is young star Philipp Kurashev. Kurashev originally suffered what was thought to be a minor injury but now has landed out long term.
Luke Richardson said Philipp Kurashev will probably be out for another week with a wrist injury, but he'll start skating again soon. #Blackhawks
Kurashev will now miss at least 10 games and 24 days from the time he was placed on LTIR. The Blackhawks will look to players like MacKenzie Entwistle, Reese Johnson, and Boris Katchouk to fill the hole left by Kurashev.
