Auston Matthews and Kyle Dubas both in trouble as they are being investigated
It's not every day you hear a story like this, as the NHL Players' Association investigates Auston Matthews, Kyle Dubas and their agent.
Why is this? According to Frank Seravalli, there is a conflict of interest, since Dubas and Matthews have the same agent. Presumably, this was also the case when the Leafs' star signed his contract.
Chris Armstrong, their agent, is not NHL-certified, so this complicates matters for the ongoing investigation.
The @NHLPA confirms it is reviewing former #Leafs GM Kyle Dubas' relationship with his agent for potential violation, as @wassermanhockey also represents prominent NHL players, including #LeafsForever Auston Matthews.
