Another player on the LTIR is traded to the Arizona Coyotes
The Arizona Coyotes are very aptly named the "contract graveyard" as the organization has once again traded up to take in another injured player.
After the acquisition of Shea Weber a few days ago, the Coyotes acquired Jakub Voracek from the Columbus Blue Jackets with a sixth round pick in 2023.
In return, Columbus receives goaltender Jon Gillies.
In 15 games this season in the AHL, Gillies has maintained a 3.70 GAA and .878 save percentage.
As for Voracek, he has only played 11 games this season with the Jackets. His career would be over due to multiple head injuries.
