Anaheim Ducks Listening To Offers For Goal-Scoring Winger Vatrano
Today it came out that the Anaheim Ducks are actively listening to offers on winger Frank Vatrano. The 29-year-old leads the team in goals with 14 and points with 23 through 30 games.
Vatrano has been on a massive heater this year as he is currently on pace for around 40 goals. He's already only 10 goals shy of his career-high 24 he scored back in 2018-19. At one point he was tied for leading the league in goals.
Frank Vatrano is now tied for the NHL lead in goals with 9 goals in his 9th game.
While Vatrano has cooled off, his 14 goals are still good for a top-20 spot on the league leader board. Its all the more impressive that he is doing this on a terrible Ducks team.
Vatrano has one year left after this one on his contract at a cap hit under 4 million dollars. That is certainly affordable to most contenders at least with some salary retention. He could be a difference maker for one Stanley Cup hopeful team this season and next.
