Alex Ovechkin made a nice gesture to Kris Letang
The Pittsburgh Penguins and Washington Capitals have been one of the best rivalries in hockey for nearly two decades. The matchup between Alex Ovechkin, the first overall pick in 2004, and Sidney Crosby, the first overall pick in 2005, has never disappointed, even as they approach retirement.
Before yesterday's game, the Washington Capitals captain made a nice gesture to Quebec's Kris Letang, who was grieving the death of his father.

Rivals or not, these are two of the best veterans in the sport. It's always nice to see that camaraderie on the ice.
