AHL Player Collapsed During Playoff Game
It was a scary scene during an American Hockey League Playoff game between the Hershey Bears and the Hartford Wolf Pack when a Wolf Pack player collapsed on the bench in the first period.
With 2:23 remaining in the first period, Wolf Pack forward Anton Blidh collapsed on the bench and was taken off on a stretcher to receive medical attention.
The officials froze the game and added the remaining 2:23 to the second period. After receiving medical attention for non-life-threatening issues, Blidh recovered and shockingly returned to play after the intermission.
