Now that training camps have begun, the experts are having fun predicting which players will be used in which positions. Basically, they line up according to their preferences and what they see in practice.

Eric Engels lent himself to the game, and let's just say that his line-up is the talk of the town.
Cole Caufield - Nick Suzuki - Alex Newhook
Juraj Slafkovsky - Kirby Dach - Josh Anderson
Rafael Harvey-Pinard - Sean Monahan - Brendan Gallagher
Tanner Pearson - Jake Evans - Emil Heineman

Extras: Michael Pezzetta and Christian Dvorak (injured)

Mike Matheson-Kaiden Guhle
Arber Xhekaj-David Savard
Jordan Harris-Johnathan Kovacevic

Samuel Montembeault
Jake Allen
Cayden Primeau

Alex Newhook would start the season on the first trio, while Emil Heineman would cause a surprise. In other words, he would be ahead of Owen Beck and Joshua Roy, as well as dislodging Jesse Ylonen and Joel Armia.
We know Heineman can score goals, as he proved when he joined the Rocket last season. So it's going to be very interesting to watch. There are so many players fighting for a place on the team that anything goes.
