The playoffs are right around the corner for the Jets, and it appears that Nikolaj Ehlers is now going to be week-to-week, forcing him to likely miss round one.

Winnipeg Jets forward Nikolaj Ehlers will be unavailable week-to-week due to a right foot injury, a bad break for the team with the NHL playoffs approaching.
The timing is especially bad for the Jets, who recently captured the Presidents' Trophy and will face the lower wild-card seed in the first round. Ehlers, 29, has registered 24 goals and 39 assists in 69 games this season.
He was hurt in Saturday's shootout win over the Chicago Blackhawks when he collided with an official in the second period. He left under his own power and did not return.
After the game, head coach Scott Arniel confirmed that Ehlers had re-aggravated a pre-existing lower-body injury.

Gabriel Vilardi is now day-to-day

There was some positive news, though. Arniel said Tuesday that forward Gabriel Vilardi is day-to-day. Vilardi, who had been week-to-week after he was hurt on March 23, skated by himself Tuesday. He's tallied 27 goals and 34 assists in 71 games.

Dylan Samberg will be okay

On other news, defenseman Dylan Samberg is OK after leaving Sunday's game against Edmonton when he was hit with a blocked shot. He skated on Tuesday.
The Jets finish up their season on Wednesday against against the Anaheim Ducks. Arniel stated that he's "all in" for the last game, and the team's top players can't wait to don the uniform.
Winnipeg wants to end a two-game skid against Anaheim and, at the same time, reach a franchise record 115 points.
