With Luke Schenn reportedly preferring a trade away from the Winnipeg Jets a likely landing spot has emerged for the veteran defenseman.

Over the last several days multiple reports have confirmed that the Winnipeg Jets are exploring a trade to give Luke Schenn an opportunity to win a Stanley Cup this season.
Schenn is reaching the end of his career and looking to chase a Stanley Cup to close out the storybook ending to his career.
With Schenn's desire to move now well known reports have uncovered that the veteran defenseman would love to join his brother Brayden for one season together before they both retire.

Luke Schenn exploring potential family reunion with brother Brayden

With Luke and Brayden both bottom feeders in the Western Conference contending teams have reportedly inquired about their services.
Now, a report from David Pagnotta has suggested that the brothers would prefer a trade to the same team if possible.
Luke Schenn...if there's a change of scenery opportunity...he'd like to take it; last season...Brayden Schenn was also discussed, there was some...trying to make the two guys end up on the same club, I wonder if that's gonna happen this year - David Pagnotta
At this point in their careers Brayden is the much more valuable player and most likely to be traded first if made available by St. Louis.
With that in mind, Luke could wait until Brayden is traded to try and leverage the Jets to send him to the same team.
At the end of the day, it will likely come down to how willing Kevin Cheveldayoff is to do Luke Schenn a favor on his way out of Winnipeg.
As the NHL trade deadline approaches this situation will be one of the most important to follow for the Winnipeg Jets.
