After the buzzer had gone, Trevor Van Riemsdyk, was in a scrum all alone against a handful of Rangers drawing Capital teammates back onto the ice.

In Game 1 against the New York Rangers, Capitals defenseman, Trevor van Riemsdyk was caught in a scrum alone at the end of the second period. A few of his teammates noticed he was isolated against some scary opponents such as, Matt Rempe and Barclay Goodrow.
The Capitals are in the 1 vs 8 series in the east as they secured the second wild card position in their last game of the regular season against the Flyers. They dropped game 1 to the Rangers after giving up three consecutive goals in the second period.
The Capitals will look to put up a better fight against the Rangers in game 2 on Tuesday, April 23.
