This afternoon, concern has risen for multiple members of the Golden Knights as the team was missing several players and head coach John Tortorella for practice.
The Vegas Golden Knights are on the verge of elimination after falling down 3-2 to the Carolina Hurricanes in the Stanley Cup Finals.
Additionally, the Golden Knights are without veteran forward William Karlsson who suffered a scary injury during Game 5 after an awkward collision.
Now, with Karlsson already missing, starting goaltender Carter Hart and head coach John Tortorella were also missing from practice.
Joel Ward leading the pre-practice conversation. John Tortorella isn't on the ice. He isn't usually out here for morning skates, but it's a little unusual for him not to be at an off day practice. Carter Hart also not here. Hill & Schmid are the goalies.
After practice, Tortorella spoke to the media and explained his absence while also giving an update on Carter Hart's status for Game 6.

In his post practice press conference, Tortorella confirmed that William Karlsson will miss Game 6 but then gave a positive update on Carter Hart confirming today was just a maintenance day for the Golden Knights starter.
This is good news for the Golden Knights and their fans who will need Hart to rebound and step up in a big way in Game 6 if the Golden Knights want any chance of forcing a Game 7 winner takes all scenario.
As puck drop draws closer, it will be interesting to see if Tortorella continues to go back to the struggling Hart in goal or if he makes a last minute surprise change to try and spark his club.
