The Toronto Blue Jays hit a Vancouver Canucks fan where it hurts after he responded to their post on X about the new MLB season only being three months away.

The Toronto Blue Jays came within literally inches of taking home their first World Series win since they repeated as back to back champions in 1992 and 1993 earlier in the fall against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Instead, it was the Dodgers who broke the hearts of Toronto fans everywhere and dealt another professional sports club in the city another devastating Game 7 loss at home.
Regardless, the Blue Jays are still a strong team and should be in contention next year.
Earlier today, they posted a message on their X account announcing that the new season was only three months away, only to have a Vancouver Canucks fan respond by saying that it's three months too soon.
That's when the administrators who run the Blue Jays X account decided to clap back where it hurts with a dig about the Quinn Hughes trade earlier this month.
It immediately drew an array of responses:

Quinn Hughes Was Traded From The Canucks To The Wild

It was a painful day for Canucks fans earlier this month when the team traded Hughes, the best defenseman ever to wear a Vancouver sweater, to the Minnesota Wild.
Even though Hughes was linked to a pair of teams in the Eastern Conference for family reasons, he ended up being dealt within the Conference.
Despite the trade, the Canucks won their first four games without Hughes.
