Today, the New York Rangers have made the surprising announcement that former Canuck J.T. Miller has been named the team's captain. The end of J.T. Miller's tenure with the Vancouver Canucks came to an unfortunate and messy end after his feud with Elias Pettersson. The feud led to him being traded to the New York Rangers in exchange for Filip Chytil and others. Since then, Miller has found a home with the Rangers and fit into that locker room and culture incredibly well. Things have gone so well that now, Miller has reportedly been named the team's captain for the upcoming season.
Former Canuck J.T.
