It seems like Thatcher Demko is gearing up for a comeback. Yet, Casey DeSmith and Arturs Silovs have been holding down the fort while he's been out, and Silovs has been doing so well, he might have snagged the backup spot. DeSmith, on the other hand, has been struggling lately.

Now, with Demko on the verge of returning, there's some speculation about how Coach Tocchet plans to handle the goalie situation, especially with Silovs shining. Tocchet hinted that Silovs might have leapfrogged DeSmith, and there's even talk of keeping three goalies for the playoffs.

Silovs has been on fire, winning games when given the chance, and Tocchet isn't ruling out starting him in back-to-back games. There's this contract stuff to considerSilovs can be moved around, but DeSmith's options are limited.

Seems like Silovs' time might have finally arrived, especially with DeSmith heading into free agency soon. While DeSmith has been solid, Silovs has been proving himself against top NHL talent. Could it be his time to shine as Demko's full-time backup?
