This afternoon, Vancouver Canucks GM Patrik Allvin has called out the team's fans for being disappointed with the Canucks trade deadline moves.
The Vancouver Canucks have been one of the most active teams on the trade market this season becoming full on sellers getting rid of several big names.
Starting with Quinn Hughes earlier this season the fire sale commenced in Vancouver.
During deadline week, the Canucks decided to move on from Conor Garland and Tyler Myers receiving a package of draft picks for both players.
Despite the adding of multiple high-end draft picks the Canucks failed to acquire any top prospects or first-round picks in the deals they made this week.
The lack of big names or first round assets coming back to Vancouver has had many fans questioning whether Patrik Allvin and Jim Rutherford are the right men for the job.
Now, Allvin took to the podium to defend himself and call out the fans for not being thankful for what the Canucks did get.

During a recent press conference, a frustrated Allvin made the claim that the Canucks fans should be happy because the team is not starting over from scratch and the team still has good pieces on the ice despite the trades.
I think the fans should be happy and excited that we're not starting from scratch here. We've got some good pieces on the ice right now that have been performing really well.
Despite what Allvin feels the Canucks fans should think most fans are frustrated and fed up with how things have played out over the last year.
Additionally, many fans are struggling to understand which players Allvin thinks are playing well.
With the backlash from this deadline led by Allvin and Rutherford one has to wonder how short the leash will be for them to turn things around and get the Canucks back to winning hockey again.
