Adam Foote calls out Penguins forward Bryan Rust for headshot hit on Brock Boeser

Vancouver Canucks head coach Adam Foote has spoken out tonight condemning Penguins forward Bryan Rust for a questionable hit on Brock Boeser.
The Vancouver Canucks welcomed the Pittsburgh Penguins into town tonight for a cross country matchup.
With the game on the line in the final seconds chaos erupted during a scrum for a decisive goal.
In the scrum, Bryan Rust came flying in to clear out the front of the net and seemed to elbow Brock Boeser directly in the head at full speed.
The hit from Rust drew frustration and anger from fans online immediately after the play.
Now, Canucks head coach Adam Foote has spoken out and torched Rust for the hit.

During his post game press conference, Foote was asked about the play and didn't hesitate to call out Rust and defend Boeser.
I'm sure the league will look at it» says Adam Foote of the Rust hit on Boeser. He called it a vicious headshot and said he didn't have an update on Boeser
In addition to Foote, Canucks forward Jake DeBrusk also called the play dirty and unnecessary by Rust.

Now, all eyes will turn to the NHL's Department of Player Safety to see whether or not Rust will face any fines or suspension for his acts against Boeser.
