Some unfortunate news has emerged regarding Zach Hyman, as he has a dislocated wrist, and there is a chance he will not be ready to start next season.

Edmonton Oilers' Zach Hyman said Wednesday that he isn't sure whether he'll be ready for training camp, Jason Gregor of Sports 1440 Edmonton and Oilers commentator Bob Stauffer reported.
Hyman is unavailable for the Stanley Cup Finals against the Florida Panthers due to a wrist injury that he sustained last week, which ultimately required surgery.
While initial reports were that he suffered a broken wrist, updates and clarity were provided today.

Hyman dislocated his wrist and has a strong chance of missing the start of next season

The 32-year-old revealed that he suffered a dislocated wrist and also tore some ligaments in his wrist, which now leaves his availability for training camp up in the air.
The injury happened quite early in Game 4 against the Dallas Stars. It was an awkward collision with Mason Marchment that sent Hyman directly down the tunnel and into his team's dressing room.
The diagnosis was not good, as the veteran Oilers forward had to undergo surgery on his wrist and is being forced to sit out the Stanley Cup Final, and now could even miss the start of next season.
Hyman will still be really involved with the Oilers off the ice during this series. In the aftermath of Edmonton clinching the Western Conference title, the Oilers FaceTimed Hyman in the dressing room as multiple players took to celebrate with him.
Game 1 goes tonight in Edmonton at 6 PM MT.
