Tonight, a new report has connected the Edmonton Oilers to several teams including the Boston Bruins in a potential trade involving Darnell Nurse.
The Edmonton Oilers have reportedly been exploring a trade involving defenseman Darnell Nurse since their disappointing Stanley Cup Playoff exit.
In recent weeks, reports have confirmed that talks have intensified with several teams who are interested in Nurse's services.
Now, a new report from Ryan Dixon of Sportsnet has suggested a potential swap of defenseman involving Nurse heading to the Boston Bruins.

According to Dixon, the Bruins have been highly interested in Nurse and would be willing to give up young promising defenseman Mason Lohrei in return for him.
Ryan Dixon of Sportsnet reported late Friday night that a swap involving Nurse and Bruins defenseman Mason Lohrei has been floated between the two clubs.
Additionally, Dixon has connected the Pittsburgh Penguins, Winnipeg Jets, and San Jose as teams of interest in the Nurse sweepstakes.
Dixon also named the Pittsburgh Penguins, Winnipeg Jets, and San Jose Sharks as potential landing spots for the veteran blue-liner.
Nurse, 31, has struggled in his last couple of seasons with the Oilers but a change of scenery could be exactly what he needs to have a career resurgence.
It remains unclear whether or not the Oilers hope to have a deal done before or after the NHL Draft but things should go into motion in the next few weeks regardless.
As more news is reported on Nurse's future in Edmonton and beyond we will pass that news along to you.
