Insider reveals that Leon Draisaitl will not face a suspension from the league
Reports of a possible suspension looming for Leon Draisaitl emerged on social media for his dirty hit on Aleksander Barkov in game two of the Stanley Cup Finals.
Barkov left the ice last night halfway through the third period following a dangerous hit from Leon Draisaitl. The Oilers forward jumped and extended his arm to hit him on the jaw with his elbow.
The Panthers captain never returned to the game, and Draisaitl was out of the penalty box two minutes later.

Concerning reports suggest that Barkov could have a broken jaw and/or a concussion, which could force him to miss a few games or even the rest of the playoffs:

However today the well known and reliable insider David Pagnotta mentioned that Leon Draisaitl will not be suspended by the league for his dirty high hit on Aleksander Barkov.
It doesn't sound like we'll see any significant discipline coming for Leon Draisaitl on last night's hit on Aleksander Barkov.
