Tonight, the Edmonton Oilers have reportedly made a significant move as they are in the final stages of a deal with top free agent Jack Roslovic.

Throughout the summer, the Edmonton Oilers have been linked to free agent Jack Roslovic at several points but have failed to get deep into negotiations.
Late last month, Roslovic unhappy with the progress on a new home fired his agent and since then has re-engaged in negotiations with several teams including the Oilers.
Now, Elliotte Friedman has confirmed that Roslovic is expected to sign a deal with the Edmonton Oilers.

Jack Roslovic Reportedly Agrees to a Deal With the Oilers

This evening, during intermission of the Edmonton Oilers' game Friedman confirmed that the Oilers and Roslovic were on the verge of a deal being completed.
Roslovic, 28, is coming off of his best season in professional hockey where he tallied 39 points with the Carolina Hurricanes.
The Oilers were reportedly working hard to upgrade their top-six and give Connor McDavid another quality winger to play with.
The signing of Roslovic accomplishes that and potentially will allow Kris Knoblauch to separate Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl to balance out the lineup more.
It will be interesting to see how the Oilers are able to fit this deal in under the salary cap as they have just over a million dollars in cap space at the moment.
According to an announcement from the Oilers they have officially agreed to a contract with Roslovic on a one-year deal worth 1.5 million dollars.
As more details are confirmed and reported regarding this signing we will pass them along to you.
