On the ice, Leon Draisaitl has become one of the NHL's best players, and off the ice, things are going well for the superstar forward as well. As he was unwinding in Spain in the off-season, No. 29 has now announced some amazing news, announcing his engagement to long-time girlfriend Celeste Desjardins.

2023/24 was another stellar year for Draisaitl, netting 41 goals and 106 points on the year, all while helping the Oilers back to the Stanley Cup Finals for the first time since 2006. While the team would ultimately fall short on the ice, he's already shown that there's more to life than hockey with the incredible announcement on social media.
This off-season, Draisaitl has become eligible for a major extension in Edmonton too, and if he can ink a deal that makes him the games highest paid player and follows it up with a Stanley Cup in 2025, it's safe to say that Drasiatil will certainly be living his best life.
