Connor McDavid's blunt Sidney Crosby comment just set the tone for Oilers vs Penguins game

Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid had lots to say about Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby, who will again be his teammates on Team Canada for the Olympics as he was last year in the 4 Nations Faceoff.
For the second time this year, the Pittsburgh Penguins and Edmonton Oilers will play each other since the blockbuster trade involving goaltenders Tristan Jarry and Stuart Skinner.
The Oilers, who beat the Penguins in Pittsburgh only days after the trade, will try for their second win over Pittsburgh and to rebound after their 2-1 loss last night to the New Jersey Devils.
Before tomorrow's game, Oilers captain Connor McDavid was asked about his thoughts on Crosby, and said that the biggest thing about Crosby is his love for the game.
He loves it, loves playing, loves competing, seems like he loves everything about it. And when you love it, it's pretty easy to show up and work and continue to get better even at his age. As I say, it's amazing to see what he's doing again this year, amazing to watch.....I go back to how much he loves it, loves practice, loves being at the rink and working at his game. He really has an appreciation for it and that's contagious, obviously. - Connor McDavid
Sidney Crosby And Connor McDavid Will Both Play For Canada In The Olympics
To nobody's surprise, both Crosby and McDavid were among the first names listed on Canada's roster for the upcoming 2026 Winter Olympics.
It will be the first time since 2014 that NHL Players play in the Olympics, and Canada hopes to defend their most recent two gold medals in 2010 and 2014.
They also hope to retain international bragging rights after their victory over Team USA in last year's 4 Nations Faceoff, as McDavid scored the OT GWG.
