Tonight, Boston Bruins star David Pastrnak has called out his teammates for an embarrassing effort against the Buffalo Sabres in a blowout loss in Game 4.

The Bruins came into Game 4 against the Sabres with a major opportunity to turn the momentum of the series and tie things up.
That opportunity was quickly squandered as the Bruins put up an embarrassing performance in the first period falling behind quickly 4-0.
After giving up 2 more goals, goaltender Jeremy Swayman was removed from the game and was seen screaming at his teammates of the bench in frustration.
Now, after the loss, star forward David Pastrnak spoke to the media and took a dig at his teammates for coming out flat and not giving effort.

During a post game press conference, Pastrnak was asked what went wrong leading to such a lopsided score.
Pastrnak called the effort unacceptable and a waste of a great opportunity.
Waste of opportunity. Unacceptable. We expect better from ourselves. We are better than that. We can't show up like this. In an afternoon game, the first period is so important, you can win and lose games, and to show up like that as a team, first period unacceptable.
Now, with the loss the the Bruins find themselves down 3-1 in the series and on the brink of elimination without any momentum.
Additionally, the series heads back to Buffalo where the crowd is sure to make a massive impact on the game and push the Sabres toward their first series win in over a decade.
The Bruins will have to find an internal spark to get their game back on track if they want any hope of extending their season.
