Trevor Zegras recalls hilarious story of his first draw against Leon Draisaitl

The young Anaheim Ducks sensation Trevor Zegras shared the hilarious story of the first time he took a draw against Leon Draisaitl of the Edmonton Oilers.
Every rookie that comes into the NHL goes through the same process: they'll eventually meet some better and more experienced players on the ice, which often comes with a big reality check.
It can be pretty intimidating for an 18-year-old kid to take a faceoff against a respected veteran, or even be on the same ice as players like Alex Ovechkin or Sidney Crosby.
Trevor Zegras opened up and shared the story of how he tried to get Leon Draisaitl to let him win the opening faceoff.

Playing a powerhouse like the Oilers, when Leon Draisaitl and Connor McDavid are on the ice, can't be easy. Zegras tried to get some help, and taking the bribe road with Draisaitl could've paid off.
The first time that Zegras faced the Oilers was on October 19, 2021, and the forward ended the evening with an assist. As for Draisaitl, he scored four points that night: two goals and two assists.
