The Canadiens released a confusing statement involving Joel Edmundson

During yesterday's game against the Detroit Red Wings, Joel Edmundson had to leave the game because of a lower body injury.

On the following sequence, which led to his injury, all indications were that Edmundson had even injured his leg.


However, there was finally a new development in his case, as we learned that the defenseman would finally be injured in his upper body, according to the Montreal Canadiens press release.


His health condition will be re-evaluated on a daily basis.
