The Canadiens have just announced a last minute media availability with Cole Caufield
In the last few minutes, we have learned that the Montreal Canadiens will be holding a very intriguing press conference, starting at 11:00 this morning, involving young Cole Caufield.
"Just a week after announcing that he would require shoulder surgery that ends his 2022-23 season, the CH is announcing that Cole Caufield will speak with the media this Friday at 11 a.m." - Priyanta Emrith
It will be interesting to find out the nature of this media call.
Will we get any details regarding a certain major contract extension?
Will we get more details about his health status?
We will obviously pass on the information related to this last minute development with the Habs.
Let's remember that in the last few days, several players, such as Philippe Boucher, Renaud Lavoie and Patrick Lalime, have all suggested that a contract signing would be imminent for Caufield and the CH, now that the young star is on the shelf until next year.
